welcome to dpsvip enjoy the blade&soul classes guide for assassin in pvp, the aim of this guide is for beginners who want to know more about assassin pvp build. as for now, assassin is a very great choice for pvp. master of the shadows assassins primary attacks are done in stealth for burst damage or control. well, it is really a best class choice if you love playing a ninja. you have moves to jump behind targets, stealthing, and more. in blade and soul, they have multiple escapes and can dodge a lot of attacks in stealth. today, we would like to share blade&soul assassin pvp build vs summoner guide as follow:


assassin: difficulty: 4.5/5 role: dps


pro:

strong sustain damage

great single target dps

spinal tap -> ani cancel -> sweeping gale -> volley -> webbing -> smokebomb -> moths -> infiltrate -> lightning rod -> ani cancel -> close shave -> lotus kick -> ani cancel -> close shave -> hook kick -> spinal tab -> ani cancel -> close shave -> wood block -> lightning stride

heart stab: tier4 form1 

this is basically assassin's ability that defines our class. high damage, poisons, can be used in stealth. core tool for animation canceling, more about this in the sections below.


lightning pierce: tier2 form3 

ability to increase damage against sin/sum mainly, also reduces your lightning rod cd by 3s every use.


stealth: tier3 form1

the most important skill for assassin to escape from stunned, dazed, knockdown, unconscious , grab status. when summoner grab you, you can actually get our of it based on this skill.


shadow dash: tier3 form1

reduces cooldown to 6s, range 1m-4m is a dead zone and good players will know how to abuse this.


shadowless step: tier2 form1

stun enemy for 2 seconds


plaguemist: tier3 form4

great tool to poke the summoner down, which is our goal. depending on how long you can lock someone in one place, the longer your enemy stands in the mist, the more poison stacks are applied (which is probably the con, making it too bad to use - moths or grenade are much more reliable). can be used 3 times in arena, due to its 45s cd


set landmine:tier2 form3

to release this skill is effective against ranged classes or allow for a more passive playstyle. the damage is one of the highest damage ability for assassin to inflict 1 stack of poison for 10 seconds.


smoke screen: tier3 form3

t2 is what i consider core, has amazing synergy with our main combo because our stunned target (if he did use tab) is stationary for the entire duration. f3t3 is also amazing & strong against classes with overwhelming openers (like pentaslash from bd/bm)


sneak attack: tier2 form1

dazes enemies for 2 sec, rear charge the enemy hit by throwing dagger.


lotus fury:tier3 form1

lotus fury & -kick are one of our most important tools i almost always find myself using this when i got hit by doom’n’bloom and have no escape options left for iframe or get away. sometimes heals up to 20% of our hp!


lotus of escape: tier3 form1

transports the user to the lotus of escape on using escape call gets us out of stun and daze, the definitely core skill.



tips:

basically 2 options: 

1 - stun route with ani cancelling out of stealth (requires to watch the cat a lot)

2 - stealth harassment with shadow drain, throwing mine. i love this way to fight summoners - considering their low hp pools you can take them out in 2-3 stealth durations with well played ani cancels.

3.keep track of the cat’s placement when it goes in crouch/taunt mode and use infiltrate to refresh your stealth.
