Poe Duelist Guide: Level 70 Puncture For The Chin Sol Maraaketh Bow

i like remote attack classes in games, for less damage and more chances to survive in battle. in path of exile, i’ve played duelist as an archer with a unique bow, chin sol maraaketh bow.

my duelist has reached level 70 without any energy shield. however, don’t worry about survival. my duelist, however, has more than 3000 life, which is enough for a remote attack class in path of exile.

adding high life is through passive skill tree. as you can see from the following picture, i got about 170% increased maximum life and 2.5% of life regenerated per second. i went toward the right of passive skill tree in first 50 levels. on the right side, i coin out the keystones, coin blank and ondar’s guile. on the other way, i got iron grip, which is good for my main attack skill puncture. other passives can be seen in the following picture.

the most import weapon is my physical and elemental bow, chin sol maraaketh bow. since i got the unique bow, i use blacksmith’s whetstone to add its 20% of quality.

gloves: glyph knuckle ancient gauntlets 
quiver: viper brand
helmet: ghoul veil vaal casque
body armor: armageddon carapace
boot: slink books
most of my poe items is to add damage and resistance. you can use the better if you get some.

my skills:
puncture split arrow culling strike faster attacks pierce
decoy totem minion and totem elemental resistance increase duration
curse: projectile weakness and vulnerability
aura: haste, grace and determination

my main attack skill is puncture, which can cause a bleeding defuff when it hits the target. the bleeding deals more damage while the target moves. puncture with iron grip has higher damage for enemies.

for an archer, totem gems and curse gems are indispensable for killing millions of monsters as well as slaying some powerful bosses. i used projectile weakness and vulnerability. as for totem, i choose decoy totem. while my totem taunts nearby enemies, i can clear up them quickly. of course, you can use flame totem which can attack monsters if your dps is not enough to kill monsters in a short time.
