Poe Ranger Guide: The Elemental Bow With High Critical Strike Chance

for me, i have a special affection for the class in the game. my first character is ranger in path of exile but it is not successful. then i create a second ranger with a elemental bow. at present, my character has reached level 83 and it is easy for her to slay enemies in merciless.

advantages:
as remote class, it is unnecessary to have high life, but ranger is easily killed in battle with low life. for my ranger, about 3000 maximum life is enough and life regeneration is faster than its consumption, which avoid being killed by a hit. what’s more, all elemental resistance is full.

passive skill tree
in my passive skill tree, i mainly get a lot of nodes which can increase life, critical strike chance and critical strike. for i use the unique lioneye’s glare, i only get to the keystone blood magic.

path of exile items
players who play a successful archer know that lioneye’s glare is a good bow in the game world. i spend 8 ex to buy the unique imperial bow for my ranger. it is capable of adding damage and attack speed. moreover, blackgleam is another key poe item.
 
i equip my ranger with other path of exile items to add life, critical strike and all resistance.

melee skill: frenzy faster attacks weapon elemental damage increase critical strike life leech
aoe skill: split arrow faster attacks weapon elemental damage life gain on hit increase critial strike

other skills:
ranged attack totem rain of arrows weapon elemental damage faster attacks
bear trap multiple traps add fire damage

curse: projectile weakness and critical weakness
aura: grace, clarity, wrath and anger

strategy
generally, i firstly use split arrow to attack monsters in the distance. if some of monsters close to my ranger, i will choose frenzy to slay them. ranged attack totem helps me draw enemies’ fire. when i fight against bosses, bear trap can reduce bosses’ movement speed.
